FULVIO BIANCONI

He settled in Milan, works as a graphic designer and Illustrator with Mondadori publishers, Bombiani, Garzanti and frescoed Galtrucco shops and the pavilions of the Fiera Campionaria. In 1946 he went repeatedly to Murano to read better on glass art. Here he meets Paolo Venini that realizing the creative spirit of young Bianconi invited him to work in his glass. From this collaboration are the figures of the Commedia dell'arte, Tiepolo, the handkerchief, the sirens, the Pandya, and many others.
New techniques of glass art and re-workings of old ones were the subject of the creative research of Fulvio Bianconi.

PAOLO VENINI

In 1921 Paolo Venini, Milan lawyer with a distant family tradition in glass processing, he founded together with Giacomo Cappellin, antiquarian, Venini.
Always worked alongside of its designers and architects, with the constant objective of anticipating and orienting the taste by checking each model released from its furnaces.
Its safe aesthetic choices, the great quality of the products, supplied his considerable success of glassware critics and public. He devoted himself to the design since the early 1930s: the 1936 are the diamond and glass, in collaboration with Carlo Scarpa, the Roman murrine.
Venini participated in all Three of Milan, at the Venice Biennale and held its exhibitions in all the countries of Europe and the United States.
